KUWAIT CITY, May 23: The Kuwait Football Association (KFA) will hold its first board meeting tonight at its headquarters in Al-Adailiya, chaired by Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef.

The General Assembly had officially endorsed the new board for the 2026–2030 term last Wednesday, with Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef elected president. The board also includes Daeen Al-Daeen and Ayman Al-Hussaini as vice presidents, along with Dr. Ahmad Ajab, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, Nasser Al-Adwani, and Dalal Al-Mudhaf as the women’s representative.

The new board formation followed the withdrawal of Al-Qadsia and Al-Arabi candidates, Sheikh Nasser Talal Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah and Khaled Al-Qabandi.

Tonight’s meeting is expected to focus on approving key administrative posts, naming new committee heads, and reviewing existing committee memberships, with decisions on whether to retain or replace current members.
