KFA holds an ordinary General Assembly to choose a new board for the 2026–2030 term

KUWAIT CITY, May 19: The ordinary General Assembly of the Kuwait Football Association will be held at 7:00 pm today to elect a new Board of Directors for the 2026–2030 term.

The Election Committee has approved all nomination papers for candidates contesting the posts of chairman, two vice-chairmen, board members, and the women’s seat.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef is running for the position of board chairman.

For the vice-chairman posts, four candidates are competing, with the General Assembly set to elect two: Dyeen Al-Dyeen, Ayman Al-Husseini, Khaled Al-Qabandi, and Sheikh Nasser Talal Al-Sabah.

For board membership, the approved candidates are Dr. Ahmed Ajab, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, and Nasser Al-Adwani, while the women’s seat will be filled by Dalal Al-Mudhaf.
