Kerala Press Club Kuwait Elects New Office Bearers for Upcoming Term

KUWAIT CITY, May 25: The Kerala Press Club Kuwait has elected its new office bearers for the upcoming term during its Annual General Body Meeting held on Sunday at Chef Naushad Restaurant in Farwaniya.

T.V. Hikmath (Kairali TV) was elected as President, Anil P. Alex (Mangalam) as General Secretary, and Abdul Razak Kumaranellur (Sathyam Online) as Treasurer. An Executive Committee comprising representatives from various media organisations was also elected during the meeting.

The General Body paid tribute and recorded condolences on the demise of former Kuwait-based media professional Victor Joseph.

The meeting was presided over by outgoing President Sujith Sureshan. General Secretary Saleem Kottayil presented the annual activity report, while Treasurer Sreejith presented the financial report for the previous term, which was approved by the General Body.

During the discussion session, Executive Committee members, including Reji Bhaskar, Aslam, Sathar Kunnil, Krishnan Kadalundi, Johnly Thundiyil, Anil K. Nambiar, Abdul Muneer, Nijas Kasim, and Shajahan Koyilandy, participated.
