Kuwait City, July 3: KDD has announced a significant partnership with DHL, a leading global logistics company, to utilize the "DHL GoGreen Plus" solutions. This initiative marks KDD as the first Food & Beverage industrial company in Kuwait to join this global sustainability effort, reinforcing its leadership position within the sector.  The corporate relationship between KDD and DHL started on 18th January 1982.

Commitment to Sustainability

Mrs. Bahia Ezzat Jaafar, Deputy Chairman & Deputy CEO, CFO of KDD, stated, “This partnership signifies a substantial leap in KDD's unwavering commitment to enhancing sustainability and mitigating climate change impacts. Our vision is to achieve the smallest possible environmental footprint while addressing the biggest environmental challenges in the places where we operate.”

Through the GoGreen Plus initiative, KDD will proactively minimize its Scope 3 emissions. The Company’s investment in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) aims to reduce carbon emissions linked to all its parcel shipments by up to 70%.
