KUWAIT CITY, June 7: According to the Joint Automated Banking Services Co (K-Net), an unprecedented jump has been recorded in the banking transactions through automated banking by residents and Kuwaitis to buy foodstuffs during the holy month of Ramadan, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added, according to K-Net authorities KD 67 million has been spent over the past 24 hours. In a statement to the daily, Executive Chairman of K-Net Abdullah Al-Ajmi said the expenditure is diversifi ed between sales and cash withdrawal – cash withdrawal was KD 33 million and purchases using K-Net was KD 34 million.
