KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: The Kuwait General Administration of Customs (KGAC) issued instructions regarding the declaration of cash, currency and negotiable financial instruments in the possession of travelers entering or leaving Kuwait. According to KGAC, travelers are obligated to declare cash or negotiable financial instruments valued at KD3,000 or higher, or their equivalent in foreign currency. It warned that failure to declare the specified amounts will subject the owner to penalties stipulated by Anti-Money Laundering and Financing Terrorism Law No. 106/2013.
