KUWAIT CITY, May 12: The budget endorsed for the Ministry of Education for the new fiscal year reached KD 2.1 billion after the ministry requested its finance counterpart to allot additional funds for the implementation of its plans and projects, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.
On the other hand, Director General of Capital Educational District Badria Al-Khaldi and Director General of Ahmadi Educational District Waleed Al-Owmi submitted their application for retirement to the Administrative Sector effective by the end of June. Sources pointed out that with the retirement of Al-Khaldi, there will be no woman in high positions in the ministry for the first time in more than 25 years.
