KUWAIT CITY, June 30: Kazma Club has officially signed veteran midfielder Sultan Al-Enezi, who will join the team for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. The former Kuwait international returns to club football after parting ways with Omani side Dhofar in January.
Al-Enezi, who previously played for Al-Qadsiya and Al-Arabi, brings valuable experience to the midfield as Kazma continues to rebuild ahead of the new Premier League season starting September 12.
The “Orange” team has already made several moves to strengthen the squad. Kazma secured the services of Olympic team standout Bandar Al-Barazi from Al-Nasr Club, and renewed the contract of defender Bader Dhikrallah after his strong comeback season following a two-year academic absence.
Striker Mishaal Al-Shammari, a vital part of Kazma’s attack, also extended his stay with the club. Meanwhile, club captain Hamad Al-Harbi departed to join Al-Arabi. Kazma is undergoing a managerial transition as well, with Croatian coach Dragan Tadić taking over from Bosnian Rosimir Cefko. The club has also bolstered its foreign contingent by signing Jordanians Ali Al-Azaizeh and Yousef Bujzer, while renewing the contracts of Anas Al-Awadat and Nigerian Samson Enekola after their solid performances last season.
As part of the overhaul, the club opted not to renew the contracts of Brazilian Janos Ramalo, Tunisian Montaser Lahtimi, and Nigerian Kinglesi Sokari.
In related transfer news, Fahaheel added to its midfield by signing Salman Al-Boos, who recently left Al-Qadsiya. Despite limited appearances last season, Al-Boos has been a regular with the Olympic national team and is expected to play a key role at his new club.
