KUWAIT CITY, Dec 15: Kazma travels to Manama, Bahrain, tonight to take on Al-Muharraq in Round 4 of Group A of the West Asia Gulf Region Basketball Super League.

Group Standings:

Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia): 7 points (3 wins, 1 loss) – Group leaders

Shabab Al-Ahli (UAE): 6 points (2 wins, 2 losses)

Kazma (Kuwait): 4 points (1 win, 2 losses)

Al-Muharraq (Bahrain): 4 points (1 win, 2 losses)

A victory tonight is crucial for Kazma, as it would significantly improve its chances of advancing to the next stage of the tournament. The Kuwaiti side opened the competition with a 95-81 win over Al-Muharraq at home, but later suffered defeats against Al-Ittihad (81-92) and Shabab Al-Ahli (65-68).

Kazma coach Bojan Lazic relies on a strong roster featuring Captain Ahmed Al-Bloushi, Abdulaziz Reyhan, Yousef Al-Bloushi, Abdulrahman Al-Sahoo, along with American imports Philip Green, Joguan Johnson, and Serbian Strahinja Mikovic.

Al-Muharraq, meanwhile, aims to avenge their opening-round loss to Kazma and capitalize on home-court advantage. The Bahraini side is led by German coach Peter Schomers, a former coach of Kuwait, and depends on foreign stars Nicholas West, Kerwin Roach, and Daniel Hamilton.
