Kazma and Salmiya clubs qualify for the finals of Amiri Cup

KUWAIT CITY, May 7: Kazma and Salmiya clubs qualified for the final of the HH the Amir’s Cup football championship in its 60th season (2021-2022), after defeating Fahaheel and Al Nasr in the semi-final matches.

In the first match that took place at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah Stadium, Kazma won by 3:0 the goals were scored by Shabib Al-Khalidi in the 27th minute from a penalty kick, Youssef Saisa in the 45th minute and Ahmed Arsan in the 70th minute

In the second match, Salmiya qualified after defeating Al-Nasr With a score 2:1 in the match that was held at Al Sadaqat Al Salam Stadium. For Salmiya goals came through Nayef Zuweid in the 11th minute from the penalty kick and the 82nd minute, while the second goal was scored by Mohammed Alyan in the 60th minute.

The His Highness the Amir’s Football Cup competition was launched in the year 1961-1962, Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Arabi won the title 16 times each,  Al-Kuwait Club 15 times, while Kazma won the championship title 7 times, Al-Salmiya and Al-Yarmouk won the title twice and Fahaheel Club once.
