KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: The sixth round of the Zain Premier League kicks off today with two key fixtures. In the first match, Al-Nasr faces Al-Jahra at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium at 5:35 PM, followed by Kazma hosting Al-Shabab at Al-Sadaqa wal-Salam Stadium at 7:50 PM.

The round continues on Sunday with Al-Qadsia vs Al-Salmiya at Thamer Stadium. Meanwhile, Al-Arabi vs Al-Tadamon and Kuwait Club vs Al-Fahaheel have been postponed due to the participation of Al-Akhdar and Al-Abyad in the Asian Challenge League.

Al-Jahra, currently eighth with 4 points, is looking to secure its second consecutive win, taking advantage of Al-Nasr’s current struggles. Croatian coach Rodion Ghassanin “Radan” aims to capitalize on his players’ high morale after last round’s 1-0 victory over Al-Tadamon.

For Al-Nasr, sitting at the bottom of the table, tonight could be a last chance for Tunisian coach Jamil Belkacem. The team has scored just one goal in five matches and is eager to register its first league win.

In the second fixture, Kazma, third in the standings with 9 points, aims to maintain its momentum in the title race, following a narrow 1-0 victory over Al-Qadsia last round.

Al-Shabab, sixth with 7 points, is determined to bounce back after a 4-0 defeat to league leader Kuwait Club. However, it faces a tough challenge against a Kazma side that has been consistent and impressive in the opening five rounds.
