KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: Kazma is looking to recover from its opening-round defeat to Kuwait Club when it faces Burgan at 7:30 pm in the second round of the Volleyball League, while Al Sahel takes on Yarmouk at 5:30 pm. Both matches will be held at the Kuwait Volleyball Federation Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex.
In the first round, Qadsia, Al Arabi, Al-Salibikhat, and Kuwait Club earned their first three points, while Kazma, Al Nasr, Burgan, and Al Shabab are still searching for their opening victory. Yarmouk and Al Sahel begin their league campaigns today.
The league format features a single preliminary group round, with the top six teams advancing to the Premier Division to compete in three sections, and the team with the most wins is crowned champion. The preliminary round winner gains an advantage going into the next stage. Teams placed seventh to tenth, along with the Youth National Team, compete in the First Division across three sections.
Kazma aims to claim its first victory and full points, taking on a Burgan side that suffered a 3-0 defeat to Al Arabi in the opening round.
Meanwhile, Al Sahel and Yarmouk are seeking a strong start with a win in their matchup today.
