LOS ANGELES, Nov 6, (Agencies): Katy Perry’s deep affection for her daughter, Daisy Dove, was on full display during her final performance of the Las Vegas residency play. In a heartwarming moment, the 3-year-old made her first public appearance onscreen during the Saturday evening show.

As Katy Perry, aged 39, prepared to perform her hit song “Hot n Cold” from 2008, she paused to express her love for her little one. Daisy Dove, born in August 2020 to Katy and her fiancé Orlando Bloom, was the center of attention. In footage captured by fans and shared on social media, Katy lovingly exclaimed, “Daisy! I love you so much. You’re my best friend, and I’m so glad you’re here.”

Directly addressing her daughter, who was dressed as Minnie Mouse in the audience, the proud mother continued, “I’m gonna sing this next song — I think you know it?”

Later in the show, as Katy was about to conclude her Vegas residency, she acknowledged everyone who contributed to the success of Play, including her daughter Daisy. In a video shared by an audience member, she expressed her gratitude to Orlando Bloom, calling him “an incredible support system” and “an amazing father.” Katy then turned her attention to Daisy, revealing the inspiration behind the show: “I created this show after the birth of my daughter, Daisy Dove. When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up. She made me whole, and she healed me, and she showed me how to play again. So this show is for everyone’s inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free.”

During the performance of “Chained to the Rhythm,” fans captured footage of Orlando Bloom and Daisy dancing along in the audience, adding to the heartwarming atmosphere.

Katy Perry’s pregnancy revelation came as a surprise to her fans when she featured her pregnancy in the music video for “Never Worn White,” released on March 5, 2020. Subsequently, she and Orlando Bloom partnered with UNICEF to announce the birth of their daughter, sharing a touching black-and-white image of the couple holding their newborn’s hand.
