KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: The acting CEO of Kuwait Aviation Services Company (KASCO), Abdulrahman Al-Kandari, affirmed the company’s full readiness to cooperate with Kuwaiti farmers to supply local products according to the company’s needs, reports Al-Seyassah daily. In a press statement issued after a meeting with the Kuwait Farmers Union, Al-Kandari explained that cooperation with the union will begin as soon as possible, with a supply mechanism being established and health requirements for the products strictly observed, in line with the instructions of the company’s Board Chairman, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shabib, and board members. This step is part of the company’s commitment to relying on local produce and supporting the union, in line with the directives of the higher leadership to encourage Kuwaiti suppliers and promote national products.
He noted that the collaboration with the Farmers Union will help achieve food sustainability and enhance the quality of services provided, adding that relying on local products reflects the company’s confidence in the quality of Kuwaiti produce and its ability to meet national companies’ requirements according to the highest approved standards. Al-Kandari noted that KASCO will provide technical support and maintain continuous coordination with farmers to ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply operations. Meanwhile, Head of the interim committee managing the Kuwait Farmers Union, Ahmed Al-Adwani, stated that the union will work to provide all required products at the best prices daily. He said the union will also guide its members and farm owners to supply the products needed by KASCO in all required quantities
