Kaico service team triumph in MazTech annual competition

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: Kuwait Automotive Imports Company, Al Shaya & Al Sagar, the exclusive dealers of Mazda, Peugeot & Geely in Kuwait adds a new entry in its achievements record by winning first place at one of the biggest automotive service competitions in the region. Organized by Mazda Corporation, the competition rated the skills and proficiency of over 20 authorized auto technicians from 10 countries in the GCC and South Africa region wherein Kaico technician’s team came in 1st place.

The technician team at Kaico is considered to be certifiably competent to not only diagnose any fault, but also fix it as well on the first time, thereby increasing the customer’s trust in their premium Japanese brand.

More than 20 top auto technician from various Mazda dealers competed in Dubai to be named the best in the region.  The victory of Kaico service team is a result of continuous training opportunities that technicians participate in all year long.

“Our main aim at Kaico is to be customer centric, so naturally making sure customer vehicles are fixed to the highest standards possible is a critical part of this” said Ashish Tandon, General Manager of Kaico.

As well, Mohammad Abouelaun, Sr Executive Manager-After sales, added “the commitment to our customers is part of culture at Kaico. This competition is one of many ways we encourage our technicians to develop their skills in order to provide our customers with the best after sales experience possible.”

Mazda Technicians across the world will compete in Hiroshima, Japan at the 2019 MazTech Competition held on May 22nd 2019.  Kaico team received an all-expenses-paid trip to Mazda’s head office where they will showcase their talents in a skills competition solving challenging bugs on 2018 model cars.  Points will be awarded for each bug resolved and tallied to determine next year’s overall champion.

Kaico is the authorized dealer of Mazda, Peugeot & Geely vehicles, Eicher busses & Iveco trucks. As well as Michelin & Apollo tires, Mobil1 lubricant oils & Royal Enfield Motorcycles.
