KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: Jahra police patrols successfully apprehended a young man attempting to rob an Arab expatriate on one of the roads in Jahra Governorate. The suspect was immediately handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation.

A security source stated that during a routine patrol, officers spotted a juvenile wielding an axe while confronting an expatriate. Upon noticing the police, the suspect attempted to flee the scene. Officers pursued and captured him promptly, recovering the weapon used in the crime.

Authorities confirmed that the arrest was part of ongoing efforts to maintain security and public safety in Jahra. The suspect, along with the recovered weapon, has been referred to the investigation authorities to determine whether he was involved in any other criminal activities.

The Ministry of Interior reiterated its commitment to enforcing the law and protecting residents from criminal acts through vigilant patrols and rapid response measures.
