LOS ANGELES, Feb 4, (Agencies): Justin Bieber has made a triumphant return to the stage, delighting fans in Toronto with an intimate set of hits, remixes, and fan-favorite tracks. The Grammy-winning musician, 29, took the stage at Drake’s History Club for the “Drew House x Toronto Maple Leafs” show, marking his first live performance in over a year, just ahead of the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend.

The 2,500-capacity venue witnessed Bieber rocking one of his Drew House hockey jerseys, delivering a memorable performance that included hits from his extensive catalog. The show, a precursor to Bieber’s role as a team captain at the annual All-Star Game, came over a year after the cancellation of his Justice World Tour in September 2022.

Bieber had called off the remaining tour dates following his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in June 2022, citing the toll touring had taken on him. While he made brief stage appearances, such as at Don Toliver’s Rolling Loud set in March 2023, the Toronto performance marked a significant return to the spotlight for the Canadian pop star.

During the show, Bieber showcased his versatility by performing his remix of SZA’s “Snooze,” My World 2.0 singles “Eenie Meenie,” and an updated version of “Baby” filled with impressive vocal runs. The setlist also featured later hits like “Peaches,” “Hold On,” and “Ghost.”

In a special moment, Bieber invited his friend and “Stay” collaborator, The Kid LAROI, on stage, although the latter did not make an appearance. Closing the show, Bieber expressed gratitude to his fans, saying, “It’s all good, maybe we’ll come back. Love you guys, thank you so much.” The performance marked a memorable comeback for Justin Bieber, signaling a promising return to the music scene after a hiatus.
