Night sky delight: Al-Ujairi Center unveils Jupiter-Moon celestial showcase.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26, (Agencies): The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center has announced a celestial spectacle, revealing that the moon will be in close proximity to the giant of our solar system, Jupiter. Furthermore, the center shared that the four moons of Jupiter, commonly known as the Galileo moons, will be observable with the aid of a small telescope.

In a press statement provided to KUNA, the center highlighted that enthusiasts can witness this celestial conjunction immediately after sunset, extending into the night and remaining visible until the following morning.

Encouraging astronomy enthusiasts to partake in observing this unique event, the center emphasized the aesthetic appeal of Jupiter at this particular juncture. Additionally, the center underscored the significance of this conjunction in capturing comets heading toward Earth, attributing this capability to Jupiter's considerable mass.

The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center further noted that the four Galileo moons of Jupiter can be discerned with a modest telescope as they orbit the planet during this celestial alignment. Moreover, those equipped with larger telescopes may even catch a glimpse of the red spot on Jupiter's surface.
