Judicial Council approves names of 105 prosecutors

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: The Supreme Judicial Council officially approved, in its meeting held yesterday, the names of 105 prosecutors, and referred them to the Minister of Justice, Faleh Al-Ruqaba, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The source said the list of names includes 16 female prosecutors and the rest are male, indicating that this comes within the framework of the plan to Kuwaitize the judiciary.

The source indicated that the Judicial Council carried out audit procedures and examined the names of the new prosecutors, and the matter became the responsibility of the Minister of Justice.
