Jordanian uses Sheikhas name to commit crimes

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: Chairperson of the Kuwait Youth Association and member of the ruling family Sheikha Amal Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah has sought the help of the E-Crimes Department of the Criminal Investigation Department to arrest people who have exploited her name to commit crimes, reports Al-Rai daily.

Sheikha Amal said the suspects in her name on WhatsApp and Instagram, contacted her friends and asked for financial assistance. She added she managed to identify one of the fraudsters – believed to be a Jordanian. She added, she has contacted a senior Jordanian official to track him down and bring him to justice. She added, she has requested all her friends to ignore any messages for financial assistance.
