Jordan Repels Wave of Missiles and Drones, No Defences Breached

AMMAN, Mar 21: The Jordanian Armed Forces and the Public Security Directorate said 36 missiles and drones launched from Iran targeted Jordan during the third week of the ongoing conflict.

In a joint statement, officials confirmed that the Royal Air Force intercepted and destroyed 14 missiles and 21 drones, with no projectiles breaching the country’s air defence systems.

Since the start of the war, a total of 240 missiles and drones have been directed toward Jordan, reflecting the escalating regional impact.

Authorities also reported 114 incidents in the past week involving falling debris from intercepted projectiles, resulting in one child being injured. Overall, debris-related incidents have reached 414 since the conflict began, with 24 injuries recorded, all of whom have since been discharged from hospital.
