AMMAN, Mar 3: The head of the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Captain Dhaifallah Al-Farajat, announced Tuesday the reopening of Jordanian airspace to all civil aviation traffic, including arriving, departing, and overflights.
The partial closure that has been in effect since Monday evening has been lifted following a “comprehensive operational and security review amid current regional developments,” according to a statement.
Captain Al-Farajat said the decision came after an in-depth risk assessment conducted in coordination with relevant authorities.
