A military source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the interceptions were carried out in accordance with approved operational and defensive procedures to protect Jordan's borders, airspace, and the safety of its citizens.

The source said the incident caused no casualties or material damage, emphasizing that Jordanian airspace is an integral part of the Kingdom's sovereignty.

The military reaffirmed that it rejects any violation of Jordan's sovereignty or the use of its airspace in a manner that threatens the country's security and stability.
