AMMAN, Sep 1: Jordanian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 10 of 13 ballistic missiles that entered the Kingdom’s airspace, while three others fell in remote areas away from populated centers, the Jordanian Armed Forces said.

The military said the response was carried out in accordance with approved operational procedures. No injuries or deaths were reported.

Specialized teams have begun securing sites where missile debris fell and taking measures to ensure public safety. The Armed Forces urged residents not to approach, touch or move unidentified objects or debris and to immediately notify the authorities if they discover any. It also called on the public to avoid sharing unverified information and rely on official statements.
