Jordan and Morocco to battle for Arab Cup glory

DOHA, Dec 16: Jordan secured a spot in the Arab Cup 2025 final after a 1-0 semifinal victory over Saudi Arabia. Nizar Al-Rashdan scored the decisive goal in the 66th minute, brilliantly heading a cross past Saudi goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi.

The final between Jordan and Morocco will take place tomorrow at Lusail Stadium, while Saudi Arabia will face the UAE in the third-place match.

Morocco reached the Arab Cup final for the first time after defeating the UAE 3-0 in the other semifinal at Doha’s Khalifa International Stadium. Karim El Berkaoui opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a precise header, substitute Achraf El Mahdioui doubled the lead in the 83rd minute, and Abderrazak Hamdallah sealed the 3-0 win with a goal in stoppage time.
