KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: The Misdemeanor Court, presided over by Judge Abdul Rahman Al-Huraiji, ruled to remove the Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of Awqaf from his job and fine him KD 3,000 for refraining from implementing a million-dinar ruling in favor of a Kuwaiti citizen.

The citizen confirmed in his complaint that this crime was stipulated in article 58 (bis) of the Kuwaiti Penal Code, as follows: The penalty shall be imprisonment for a period not exceeding two years and termination of any competent public employee who intentionally abstains from implementing an enforceable judicial ruling 30 days after warning is issued.
