Job applications put on hold

KUWAIT CITY, April 17: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) said “all decisions for manual requests have been suspended since the dissolution of the previous government until today, and no decision has been taken regarding these requests,” indicating that the “CSC officials are currently working to issue a circular regulating this process, including a solution for applicants who were stuck for a while, specifying the timing of the entry into force of the circular, reports Al-Rai daily.

The sources indicated the CSC head Dr. Essam Al-Rubai’an, seeks to cancel requests for manual needs, and for the authorities to limit their needs for appointments in light of the financial grades allocated to each entity, and to enter them directly into the automated system. On the other hand, the sources expected that the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Fadil, to meet the CSC officials to discuss the most important issues of concern to citizens, on top of which is the issue of fl exible working hours and the results of the experiment that was applied throughout the month of Ramadan.
