KUWAIT CITY, July 22: The Inspection and Consumer Protection Sector of Ministry of Commerce and Industry discovered a warehouse in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh where commercial cheating was being perpetrated, reports Al-Seyassah daily.In a press release, the sector explained that a team was formed to follow-up commodities at various governorates across the country. It raided the warehouse where the labels of some commodities that were made in India were changed to indicate they were made in Pakistan. They also extended the expiry date of some commodities which had expired long ago.The ministry officials coordinated with security operatives from Ministry of Interior to arrest the workers caught in the act.The suspects confessed they committed the crime with the aim of increasing the profits. The officers issued citations and referred the suspects for prosecution.Stabbed mom 90 times: The Juveniles Prosecution has ordered the extension in detention of a 17-year old juvenile who is accused of killing his mother in Al-Zahra area, reports Al-Rai daily.Reportedly, the prosecution took this decision after the juvenile admitted to his crime and revealed the reasons for committing it.The forensics reports also proved his statement as per which the suspect stabbed his mother 90 times and damaged her face beyond recognition.Was he murdered?: Investigations have been launched by Capital securitymen concerning the suspicious death of a 1993-born Kuwaiti resident of Salmiya area who apparently fell from an apartment of a residential tower in Sharq area, reports Al-Anba daily.According to security sources, investigations are currently focused on the reasons why the young man was in that residential tower, and whether he committed suicide or was pushed by an individual or a group of individuals.They said the probability that the victim committed suicide is very low when compared to the probability that he was pushed.According to the police report, the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received a report on Friday early morning about a person lying motionless under the residential tower in Sharq area. Immediately, Capital securitymen along with Acting Assistant Undersecretary for General Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, Director General of Criminal Investigations Department Major General Mohammad Al-Sharhan and Director of Capital Investigations Department Colonel Khalid Al-Khamees rushed to the location.The corpse has been referred to the Forensics Department for autopsy.Woman dies in car: Hawalli security operatives have launched an investigation to unravel the mystery surrounding a 40-year old Kuwaiti woman who died inside her vehicle in Jabriya area, says Al-Seyassah.A security source said the lifeless body of the lady citizen was found inside her vehicle and a team of Criminal Evidences Men arriving at the scene with the rescue team referred the body to Forensics for autopsy to determine the cause of death. A case was registered.Man stabbed by four: An Egyptian expatriate was stabbed by four unknown individuals inside his apartment in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, reports Al-Rai daily.According to the police report, the victim called the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior and informed that four unknown individuals broke into his apartment, stabbed him, left him in a pool of blood and ran away. Farwaniya securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics and referred the victim to Farwaniya Hospital.Medical examination revealed that the victim was stabbed more than six times. He underwent treatment and was provided with a medical report.Officers from the General Department for Criminal Evidences rushed to the victim’s apartment to collect evidences and lift fingerprints.Investigations have been launched to find and arrest the suspects.3 girls insult cabbie: Police are looking for three unidentified women for humiliating and abusing an Egyptian taxi driver, and not paying his fare, reports Al-Rai daily.The daily added, the women took the taxi to go from Jabriya to a beauty parlor in Riqqa and after reaching the destination the trio humiliated the man and refused to pay his fare for no reason.The driver told the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry one of the women even threatened to hit him with her shoes.
