Jewelry firm license suspended

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has suspended the commercial license of a jewelry firm, as a precautionary measure to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, reports Al-Rai daily. The ministry said in a circular which is distributed to local banks the decision in this regard includes stopping the company from carrying out its activity, and this includes persons who were issued a license or who are affiliated with them in person or in partnership in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (106) of 2013 and its executive regulations, reports Al-Rai daily.
