LOS ANGELES, Oct 12, (Agencies): Jeannie Mai Jenkins has ended her silence following her husband Jeezy's divorce filing last month.

On Wednesday, the 44-year-old host of "The Real" made her first Instagram post since the 46-year-old rapper filed for divorce on Sept 14, 2023, marking the end of their two-and-a-half-year marriage.

The post showcased the words "Sometimes, you need to take a break and disconnect, to heal," penned in black ink within a notebook. The note was signed off with a heart, and Jenkins captioned the post with a single black heart emoji.

Jeezy filed for divorce in Atlanta, Georgia, as per the official documents. The filing stated that the couple is "currently living in a bona fide state of separation" and that their marriage is "irretrievably broken" with "no hope for reconciliation."

The former couple exchanged vows in March 2021 at their Atlanta home and celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Monaco, in January 2022.
