KUWAIT CITY, March 27: Jazeera Airways announced on Friday the resumption of its commercial flights to and from Karachi via Dammam, with services scheduled to operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting April 7.
Chief Executive Officer Barathan Pasupathi said the relaunch of the Karachi route reflects the airline’s commitment to maintaining connectivity to and from Kuwait during what he described as an exceptional period. He highlighted Karachi’s status as Pakistan’s largest city and a key economic hub, as well as its significance for the large Pakistani community, noting that the route will facilitate family reunions, business travel, urgent trips, and the movement of essential cargo supporting supply chains.
Pasupathi added that the airline has now fully restored its Pakistan network to pre-suspension levels at Kuwait International Airport. With the addition of Karachi, Jazeera Airways will operate six weekly flights to Pakistan.
He explained that the airline is leveraging an integrated travel model combining air and ground transport, with operations through Qaisumah and Dammam airports, to ensure operational continuity and expand connectivity amid ongoing challenges. Pasupathi also expressed appreciation for the support of authorities in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to facilitating the movement of passengers and goods across its growing network.
