KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Jazeera Airways has announced the resumption of its commercial flights between Kuwait and Kathmandu via Dammam in Saudi Arabia, starting April 5, with one weekly flight scheduled every Sunday.
The airline confirmed that the service will operate through King Fahd International Airport Dammam, improving connectivity between Kuwait and Nepal amid ongoing regional travel adjustments.
Nepal’s Ambassador to Kuwait, HE Ghanashyam Lamsal, welcomed the move, saying it provides a vital and reliable travel option for the Nepalese community in Kuwait, helping them maintain links with their families and businesses.
Barathan Pasupathi said the decision reflects the airline’s commitment to maintaining air connectivity under current circumstances, noting that Nepal remains an important market for the carrier.
He added that Jazeera Airways continues to operate flights to multiple destinations via Qaisumah and Dammam, including the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Nepal.
Passengers have been advised to book tickets through the airline’s official website or mobile application and to stay updated on travel requirements before departure.
