Jazeera Airways Resumes Flights to Ahmedabad and Trivandrum
Jazeera Airways

KUWAIT CITY, March 22: Jazeera Airways announced the resumption of its commercial flights to and from the Indian cities of Ahmedabad and Trivandrum via Al-Qaisumah Airport, effective March 30.

In remarks to the Kuwait News Agency, CEO Barathan Pasupathi said the airline has resumed full operations across its eight Indian destinations, emphasizing the commitment to restoring key travel routes for the Indian community in Kuwait.

Pasupathy added that since resuming flights to India on March 20, Jazeera Airways has transported over 13,000 passengers, supporting travel at a time when options remain limited. He noted that expanding the network provides greater flexibility and increases capacity, particularly during the high-demand period of Eid Al-Fitr.

He described the full resumption of Indian destinations as an important milestone during this exceptional period, highlighting that operating eight destinations brings the airline closer to one of its most significant markets, serving one of the largest expatriate communities in Kuwait.

Jazeera Airways' destinations in India include Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kochi, in addition to Ahmedabad and Trivandrum, allowing passengers access to various regions across India and meeting growing demand.

Pasupathy noted that travel procedures are conducted at Jazeera Airways' check-in center at the International Fairground in Mishrif, Hall 8, from where passengers are transported by bus to Al-Qaisumah Airport to continue their journey. He added that travelers can book flights through the Jazeera Airways website or mobile app, noting plans to gradually add more flights and destinations. (end) mdh.aa
