Jazeera Airways Resumes Dhaka Flights via Dammam Starting April 12

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 31: Jazeera Airways has announced the resumption of its commercial flights between Dhaka and Kuwait via Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia, operating three times a week starting April 12.

The airline will operate flights on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, according to CEO Barathan Pasupathi, who said the move reflects the company’s commitment to serving diverse communities in Kuwait, particularly the large Bangladeshi expatriate population.

He added that Dhaka is a key economic hub in South Asia, and the restored route will support both passenger travel and cargo operations, improving the flow of goods into the Kuwaiti market.

Barathan Pasupathi noted that Jazeera Airways currently serves more than 37 destinations and is operating around 1,000 flights through the end of April, while also playing an important role in strengthening supply chain connectivity.

In a related statement, the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Kuwait, Major General Syed Tariq Hossain, welcomed the resumption of flights, saying it will help expatriates reconnect with families and facilitate essential travel during a challenging period, while also strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
