Jazeera Airways Begins Rescheduling Flights After Airspace Reopening

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 11: Jazeera Airways announced the resumption of all departing and arriving flights following the reopening of Kuwaiti airspace and the restoration of normal air traffic, in accordance with instructions from the relevant authorities.

The airline said that the temporary suspension, which began at 4:50 a.m. on Thursday, was implemented as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of air navigation and passengers.

Jazeera Airways confirmed it is currently working to reschedule flights affected during the suspension period. It added that passengers impacted by the disruption will be contacted directly with updated travel schedules.

The airline also urged passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport and provided multiple channels for inquiries, including its official website, mobile application, customer service email, and hotline 177.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation also confirmed the return of normal air traffic operations in Kuwaiti airspace after the conditions that led to the temporary closure were resolved.
