Japan Envoy Congratulates Kuwait’s Crown Prince on Second Anniversary of Appointment

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on the second anniversary of the appointment of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al- Sabah as Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait. I clearly remember His Highness’s visit to Japan one year ago, when Japan- Kuwait relations dramatically evolved into a “comprehensive and strategic partnership”, thus contributing substantially to the expansion of cooperation across a wide range of fields. On this auspicious occasion, I would like to reiterate my sincere congratulations and express my deep appreciation for His Highness’s dedicated efforts to foster Japan–Kuwait relations. HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, with his unparalleled diplomatic skills, has solidified Kuwait’s international standing and has been active in various international conferences, including at the United Nations. Japan shares Kuwait’s values of diplomacy that prioritize achieving peace through dialogue and respect for international law. As the regional environment remains challenging and uncertain, Japan reaffirms its solidarity with Kuwait and expresses its hope that the country will continue to enjoy peace, stability, and prosperity. I wish His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al- Khaled good health, and continued success in his future endeavors.
