Japan defeats Iran to win Asian Futsal Championship

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: Japan’s national football team defeated Iran 3-2, in the final match of the AFC Asian Futsal Championship held in Kuwait. For Japan, Kazuya Shimizu, Arthur Oliveira and Iranian player Saeed Abbasi scored (by own goal), while Saeed Abbasi and Ali Reza scored for the Iranian team. Uzbekistan won the third place after defeating Thailand in the match to determine the third and fourth places.
