Japan beats Kuwait men’s juniors handball team

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: The Kuwait Men’s Junior handball team lost to Japan 26-31 in the start of the second group competitions of the ninth Asian Championship in Bahrain, which qualifies for the 2023 World Cup finals in Croatia. In two other matches in the same group, Qatar beat the UAE 36-22 and Saudi Arabia beat Iraq 44-22

Kuwait will play its second match with the UAE, while Saudi Arabia plays with Qatar, India with Iran, Iraq with Japan and South Korea with Bahrain. First 5 teams qualify for the World Championship
