Jamali heads the Kuwaiti refereeing crew for the AFC Champions League 2 final

KUWAIT CITY, May 2: The Asian Football Confederation has selected a Kuwaiti refereeing team, led by Abdullah Jamali, to officiate the AFC Champions League 2 final. Jamali will serve as the main referee, with Saud Al-Shammari and Ali Jarrah as assistant referees, while Abdulhadi Al-Enezi has been appointed as the fourth official. The VAR duties will be handled by Ammar Ashkanani and Abdullah Al-Kandari.

The final is set to take place on May 16 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, featuring a highly anticipated clash between Al-Nassr and Gamba Osaka.

President of the Kuwait Football Association, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef, congratulated Jamali and his team on their appointment to oversee the final.

He also extended his congratulations to referee Saud Al-Samhan and assistant referee Talal Al-Shammari following their nomination to officiate at the AFC U-17 Asian Cup finals, which will kick off next week in Jeddah.
