UWAIT CITY, Dec 8: The Criminal Section in the Court of Cassation, headed by Judge Saleh Al-Murayshid, upheld the ruling of the First Instance and Appeals courts to sentence a computer engineer working in a company that signed a contract with the Engineering Affairs Department in the National Assembly to five years in prison for disrupting the computer system for the opening session of the Assembly, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The Court of Cassation also upheld the verdict that declared the accused guilty of committing two crimes - unlawful entry to the information network of the Assembly while performing his job, and deliberately inputting hacking programs into the network to disrupt it.
