Jahra Wedding Hall Shooting: Arrest Made in Attempted Murder Case

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20:  The Jahra security forces arrested the individual responsible for firing shots at a wedding in the Jahra area. Investigation revealed that the suspect was a bedoun. The case was registered for using a weapon endangering the lives of others and attempted murder.

The incident unfolded when security authorities received a report of gunfire in front of a wedding hall in Jahra Governorate. Responding promptly, security personnel discovered Kalashnikov bullets at the scene. Subsequently, the security team notified the Deputy Public Prosecutor, who directed the registration of a felony case against the individual wielding the weapon during the wedding event. Instructions were issued to investigative units to locate and arrest the individuals associated with the “wedding party”.

Following the completion of the wedding ceremony, the groom was interrogated, and he identified a Bedoun as the person who fired the Kalashnikov. The suspect was swiftly arrested, and forensic experts were tasked with collecting fingerprints to confirm his identity.
