Jahra Under the Lens: Kuwait Police Record 103 Violations, Make 52 Arrests

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5 : The General Directorate of Emergency Police conducted a security and traffic campaign in Jahra Governorate as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security, improve road safety and apprehend wanted individuals and lawbreakers.

The campaign was carried out under the supervision of Director General of the General Directorate of Emergency Police Brigadier General Hamlan Hadiri Al-Hamlan and led by Assistant Director General Colonel Sabah Ali Al-Sabah.

The campaign resulted in the following:

  • 103 traffic violations were recorded.
  • 15 people were arrested for expired residency permits.
  • 15 wanted persons were apprehended.
  • 12 people were arrested for failing to carry identification documents.
  • 9 people reported as missing were located and apprehended.
  • 7 vehicles wanted by the competent authorities were seized.
  • 1 additional person wanted by the authorities was apprehended.

The detainees and seized vehicles were referred to the relevant authorities for the necessary legal procedures.

The General Directorate of Emergency Police said security and traffic campaigns will continue across Kuwait’s governorates as part of efforts to strengthen security and safety and ensure enforcement of the law.
