Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni Arrives in Kuwait on Official Visit

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrived in Kuwait on Friday on an official visit, accompanied by a delegation.

Meloni was received at the airport by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sharida Abdullah Al-Maousherji, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

Also present to welcome the Italian prime minister were Acting Head of the Prime Minister’s Office Sheikh Khalid Mohammed Al-Khalid Al-Sabah and Kuwait’s Ambassador to Italy Nasser Sanhat Al-Qahtani, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The visit is expected to provide an opportunity to strengthen relations between Kuwait and Italy. Details of the official programme were not included in the announcement.
