Israel Reports Strikes on Iranian Targets as Explosions Rock Tehran and Other Cities

TEL AVIV, Jun 8: Israel carried out strikes against Iranian government targets without its aircraft entering Iranian airspace, according to Israeli media reports on Monday. The reports said the attacks were launched from outside Iran's borders, although no further operational details were immediately disclosed.

The developments came as the Israeli military announced that a missile had been launched from Yemen toward Israeli territory. In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its air defense systems were working to intercept the threat and urged the public to follow instructions issued by the Home Front Command.

Meanwhile, Iranian state media reported multiple explosions in several cities, including Tehran, Isfahan and Tabriz. The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency also reported blasts in Karaj, west of Tehran, as well as in other areas of western Iran.

There was no immediate official confirmation from Iranian authorities regarding the cause of the explosions, and the extent of any damage or casualties was not immediately known. The incidents mark a further escalation in regional tensions as military activity continues across multiple fronts in the Middle East.
