Israel Intercepts Iranian Missiles as Sirens Reported in Parts of Jordan

TEL AVIV, Jun 7: Israel’s military said it has intercepted all missiles launched from Iran so far, as tensions escalated further with renewed cross-border fire.

In a statement, the Israeli military said it had identified missiles fired from Iran toward Israeli territory and activated air defense systems to intercept the incoming threats. Authorities said interception operations were ongoing, but added that all missiles launched up to that point had been successfully neutralized.

As a precaution, Israel announced the closure of schools for the following day following the latest missile launches from Iran, reflecting heightened security concerns and continued risk of further attacks.

Meanwhile, sirens were also reported in parts of Jordan, according to Jordanian state television, indicating regional spillover of alert activity as air defense systems across multiple countries remained on high readiness.

The Israeli military said it continues to monitor the situation closely and urged the public to follow official safety instructions as the situation develops amid ongoing regional tensions.
