Moroccan Ismail Khafi.

KUWAIT CITY, June 29: Al-Qadisiya is close to finalizing a contract with Moroccan player Ismail Khafi, with both parties having agreed on most of the terms for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. Khafi, 28, began his professional career with Moroccan club Ittihad Zamouri in 2018, before transferring to Mouloudia Oujda the following season. In 2021, he joined the Royal Moroccan Army Club, and then moved to the Qatari club Al Sailiya in 2022, before returning to the Royal Moroccan Army Club in 2023. He spent the last season with Ittihad Tangier Club.

A proficient striker, Khafi was the second-highest scorer in the Moroccan League last season with 13 goals. Al-Qadisiya has already renewed the contracts of Libyan Mohamed Sula and Nigerian Daniel Gebula. Meanwhile, the technical staff is reviewing several candidates to strengthen the team’s lineup for the new season.
