BAGHDAD, May 22: Iraq's Ministry of Transport announced Sunday closing down all airports and halting air traffic due to an upcoming dust storm. A statement by the Ministry said weather conditions will start this evening as wind rises from the eastern Mediterranean, with a cold air mass, which will result in an upsurge of dust in the air, to last all day tomorrow with -100m-visibility. Sand and dust storms tend to have unpredictable nature, especially around this time of year in the Arabian Gulf area, with north wind of variant speeds and strengths (KUNA)
