BAGHDAD (AP), Apr 4: A strike on the Shalamcheh Border Crossing killed one person and wounded five others, according to Omar al-Waeli on Saturday.
Al-Waeli, head of Iraq Border Ports Authority, confirmed the casualties but said no further details were immediately available regarding the nature or source of the attack.
In response, the Government of Iraq said it is redirecting traders and travelers to alternative border crossings to maintain the flow of movement and trade.
