Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Command Centers Destroyed by U.S.

WASHINGTON, Mar 3:  The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Tuesday that its forces carried out a series of strikes targeting key Iranian military sites amid escalating conflict across the Middle East.

According to a statement posted on CENTCOM’s official website, U.S. forces “destroyed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command and control centers, Iranian air defense capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and military airfields” as part of ongoing operations that have intensified since the end of last week.

The strikes, part of what officials described as a continuing campaign to “degrade Iran’s ability to conduct offensive operations,” come as regional tensions remain high following renewed hostilities involving multiple actors in the area.

CENTCOM did not specify the exact locations of the targeted sites but confirmed that all operations were conducted in coordination with allied forces to ensure regional security and protect U.S. interests in the region.
