Iran’s negotiators to meet with Pakistan’s premier ahead of talks with U.S.

ISLAMABAD, Apr 11: Iran has dispatched a 71-member delegation to Islamabad ahead of upcoming talks with the United States, according to Iranian state media.

The delegation, led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, includes senior officials, core negotiators, technical experts, as well as media and support staff, reflecting the scale and importance of the discussions.

Key figures in the delegation include Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati, and senior security official Ali Akbar Ahmadian.

Also part of the group are Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, and senior policy official Ali Bagheri Kani.

The delegation further includes lawmakers and parliamentary aides such as Mahmoud Nabavian and Abolfazl Amouei, along with strategic adviser Mehdi Mohammadi.

The large delegation underscores Tehran’s intent to engage in comprehensive discussions as diplomatic efforts continue.
